What do your donations do?
Provide funding for maintenance and construction:
COGGS has built and maintains over 100 miles of trail in the Duluth area. You generous contributions go directly to maintaining the trail we have. Maintenance includes weed whipping, trail repair/reroutes winter grooming and more. The funds also go to building new trails and features.
Building community:
COGGS is proud of the trails we have built and the community that has grown up around them. From kids on striders and downhill racers, to dog walkers and cross town runners, we encourage all to get out and enjoy being outside. As a cycling organization we provide many events throughout the year for members. Our summer enduro is very popular. Without your donations, these races would not be possible
Outdoor advocacy:
We advocate for all of our local trails with continued discussion with land owners/managers and other user groups.

Trails make the Twin Ports a better place!
COGGS is dedicated to developing and maintaining world-class mountain biking opportunities for all in the Twin Ports. In order to provide the opportunities for all, we need your support! From maintaining the trails we have to construction of trails and features, we greatly appreciate your membership. The trails are designed and built for mountain biking, but all users (non motorized) are welcome to explore them! We fully encourage ALL users to help support the trails we all love.
Your Support Matters
The Duluth Trail system is the product of tireless volunteer work, corporate sponsorships, local, state, and national grants, and donations from folks like you. Through this support we have built one of the best trail systems in the nation, arguably the planet. And IMBA agrees by designating Duluth as one of only SIX Gold Level Ride Centers in the world. We are extremely proud of our work to make Duluth a national MTB destination, and a leader in outdoor recreation.
The Work Continues
COGGS is a 501(c)3 non-profit chapter of IMBA, established in 1994. We rely on donations from individuals and businesses to provide the funding to meet our expansion goals for the Duluth Traverse, improve and maintain existing trails, and provide access and programming for children and adults who want to recreate on single track trails in the Twin Ports.
Donate Once or Make an Ongoing Contribution
Now it's even easier to help COGGS with PayPal. You can use your account or a credit card to make a one-time donation or subscribe with an ongoing monthly support contribution. Alternately, we gladly accept checks mailed directly to COGGS, P.O. Box 161261, Duluth, MN 55816.
Our trail system is free to use, and open to all trail users. Runners. Hikers. Bikers. Dog walkers. Bird watchers. Kids on a hike. Everyone can use these trails. If you appreciate the quality of life in the Twin Ports which COGGS has enabled, please consider supporting COGGS today with a contribution in any amount. Every dollar counts.
