Information for the COGGS Duluth Enduro series #1 on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at Mission Creek:
Advanced Category Registration - follow this link and fill out the form.
Recreational Category Registration - follow this link and fill out the form.
You must be a COGGS Member to ride. https://www.coggs.com/membership
You must acknowledge reading the waiver, and electronically sign the document on your registration.
Two categories of 25 people will ride. Each category will stay completely separate. We ask that you choose a category at the beginning of the season and stick with it. Both categories will do 2 stages at each event and the "advanced" category will be doing an 3rd black diamond stage at certain events. There will be mandatory drops, jumps, and steep rocky sections on the Black Diamond stages.
Due to the limited number of slots online registration will fill up quickly and will be on a first come first serve basis. If you register for the event please show up! If for some reason you are absolutely unable to attend PLEASE notify us as soon as possible so we can use your slot for another rider.
Riders will be expected to make their own number plate and the most creative number plate at each race will get a prize. Please keep the number easy to read and large.
Riders will also be expected to memorize their race number and shout it to the timing volunteer at the end of each stage.
Results will be posted online, due to Covid-19 no in person awards ceremony will be held.
Our staff will be using the TrailForks app and we recommend you do too as it works offline and shows you your GPS location on the trail. Foolproof and almost impossible to get lost while using!
If the rider is feeling unwell or sick at all, they are expected to notify us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and most importantly NOT ATTEND THE EVENT.
Masks will be required anytime some one is stopped.
riders will be required to keep one bike length between the rear wheel of the rider in front of them and their front wheel while in line and must stay on their bike in resting position.
No sharing of water, food, or tools allowed.
No Spectators. Sorry. We can't gather this year.
No congregating at the end of any stages or at the trailhead. Riders will be expected do stage one, proceed on the official transfer to the next stage and upon completion of all stages return to their car and leave.
These rules are a matter of life and death and will be STRICTLY enforced. Anyone found breaking these rules will be immediately disqualified from the race and will be unable to enter in any of the other events this season.
After all the hardships of this year, it is our aim to bring some of that COGGS Wednesday night Enduro series positivity and zest back into the mountain bike community. We hope you can come out and enjoy riding bikes outside on our beautiful trails!
