Tour Divide Documentary

The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) is a 3,000 mile track from Banff, Alberta to the US-Mexican Border in New Mexico. In 2018, St. Paul-based musician Ben Weaver strapped his guitars to his bike and joined filmmaker Keenan DesPlanques for a journey down the route that combined exploration with musical performance.

Ben will be at Zeitgeist on Friday, November 8th to present "Music for Free" a film that tells the story of that trip (doors at 6:30, screening at 7:00). Ben will be joined by Cloquet's Alexandera Houchin, who is a two-time winner of the Tour Divide Race that follows the GDMBR. Houchin also holds the record for fastest time down the trail on a singlespeed, set this past summer.

COGGS is presenting this family-friendly program in collaboration with Duluth Bikes. Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase here. Find updates and share the event socially via the Facebook event.

Hope to see you there!
