Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores Seeks Executive Director


The Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS) Board of Directors is recruiting an Executive Director to lead the organization. This will be the first Executive Director position for the organization. The position will allow COGGS to expand mountain biking development and operations both locally and regionally. 


“We are excited to hire an Executive Director who can take the organization to the next level” said Board Chair Dave Antonson. “The position will be a critical asset to our development. As a non profit organization with 500+ members we are looking for someone who can take over the strategic and operational responsibility for COGGS planning, fundraising, grants, operations, budget, and execution of its mission.”


The position is part time, 0.6 full time equivalent (with the potential to grow into a full-time position). COGGS will be accepting applications April 15 – May 9, 2021. COGGS is a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit cycling club serving the Duluth/Superior Twin Ports area of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Founded in 1994, the mission of the club is to develop and maintain world-class mountain biking opportunities for all the Twin Ports. COGGS is a leading mountain bike advocacy organization committed to sustainable trail development, equitable trail access, and to developing a welcoming outdoor recreational culture by promoting opportunities, education, programming, partnerships, and healthy outdoor fun. 


Duluth, MN is an International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Gold Level Ride Center, with over 100+ total miles of multi-use trails.
