COGGS Meeting Minutes for March 10, 2 009.
Meeting held at Green Mill Restaurant,
7:00 pm.
Meeting called to order by Adam

Secretary’s report: Mmsc
to approve February minutes.
Treasurer’s report: Savings $1,683.78; Checking $6306.01
Discussion items:
Lincoln Park Mountain Bike Challenge and
Festival:
Heath was at the meeting to discuss the race in Lincoln Park.
There will be a detour for cars driving on Skyline.
Would like to cross promote events to sponsors (fishing and
biking)
Working on bike challenge as part of a bigger festival.
Looking to get live entertainment.
Would like to gap about two hours from end of race, and then
do awards ceremony and start the evening festival (bands, etc)
Needs volunteers day of race.
COGGS is responsible for the race course.
Needs some people from COGGS to join committee.
Smartwool COGGS hats:
$10.00 or $10.50 for hat and logo.
Motion: Black hat with COGGS logo for membership gift this
year. mmsc
Superior Bike Rodeo:
Motion made to spend $500 on bicycle helmets. Mmsc
Bike Giveaway for Spring Membership Drive:
Specialized Globe bicycle
Motion made to have drawing for those signed up by June 1st.
Scheduling Tour Duluth
Sunday August, 23rd.
Start at Todd’s, end at Whitey’s.
COGGS doing concessions at Bike Swap:
Brats and hot dogs have been donated.
Todd and Di will talk about beverages.
Saturday: 9:00 to 5:00
Sunday: 11:00 to 3:00 or 4:00
