Meeting Minutes for May13, 2008.
Meeting
held at Green Mill restaurant, 7 pm.
Meeting
called to order by Adam Sundberg.
Board
members in attendance: Adam Sundberg, Bill Schwalbe, Mike Miller,
Chris White, Jeff Fraboni, Mick Dodds, Sherie Nelson, Ross Fraboni
Secretary’s
report: Mmsc to approve April minutes.
Treasurer’s
report: $1,676 Savings, $6,492 Checking
Discussion
items:
1. Continental inquiry
about offering 10% discount for COGGS members.
How to prove
membership?
We would need to
approach all shops before approving.
Some recall a drawing
at past Tuesday rides, but believe it was gift certificates.
2. Superior Housing
Authority Bike Rodeo (Thursday, June 5th, 5-7pm):
Volunteers
needed from 3-8 pm.
Received some
volunteers
3. Race directors’
reports as to progress, needs, and deadlines:
Discussed preparations
for 2008 Dirt Spanker and Powder Monkey races.
4. Trail work
Mont du Lac needs some
more prep, but will be ready to ride on the 20th.
The bridge is in at
Lester.
Piedmont: 1) Work day
arranged for Saturday to put in bridges.
2) Chewy will
have students there next week.
5. National Trails Day
(Saturday, June 7th)
Planning trail
reroute, ride, and pot luck/party at Mat’s house.
6. Trailer: Discussed
specs of a possible trailer.

by 12’ with 6’ head clearance
B. Ramp rear door
with side door
C. 3500# single axle
7. Received check from
community bank.
8. Discussed
possibility of incentives for those volunteering many hours on trail
work.
