Minutes from May 2001 COGGS Board Meeting
- Meeting called to order by Chair Kurt Lange.
- Treasurers Report: $1084.32
- Secretary Report: MMSC to approve minutes from April Meeting.
- Membership Report: 33 members, (16 fam., 15 reg., and 2 stu.)
- Board members present: All but Jonell Susnik (treasurer)(again)
Old Bizz
- Trail cleanup- 15 people, 3.5-hrs work, rerouted, cleared
- 1st Tuesday night ride May 22.
New Bizz
- Corporate Sponsorship- $50 gets sponsors name/logo on newsletter and
website. Link to their website. Not open to bicycle shops.
- Bicycle safety course- Possibility of COGGS inheriting it from city, but we
need to act fast. Sounds like a good idea to all present.
- Spirit Course- Needs to be built ASAP!!!!!!!
- Earth Day- good turnout, got COGGS' name out and hopefully gained some new
members.
- Superior Trail- Signs posted, need bridges, need name, Grand Opening
tentative for June 2nd (National Trails Day) Gerry O. supposed to fill board
in when things become finalized.
- Duluth Public Trails meeting- All COGGS members encouraged to attend.
